El Gigante / The Giant. 2007

Performance carried out in the Superior Institute of Art, for the program of Residences Batiscafo. 

On my face: the skull of a horse and faking death dressed in white, I am isolated in a acclimatized space in the darkness. The public could not go in to the space and they observed the piece through a glass.While body’s silence slowly decomposes into the organs that don’t feel the present and stayed marked by the past, everything gets lost and it stays stagnated in an inert body, which in its current estate suggests the presence and absence of a being.The giant represents the estrangement which refers to an estate where the darkness of space tinted by a skylight nuanced contrasts with the dark interior of the "dead in lifes subject."
