Animus. 2007.
Video. (without sound) 00: 03: 59

This work rises from an approach that Carl G. Jung sets between the Feminine and the Masculine, denominating them as “Animas” and “Animus”: where both cohabite in the same being, but one of them prevails over the other one. Instinctive impulse, sensitivity and tenderness predominate in the “animas”. While “animus” works with the activity, the rationality, the selfishness and the aspirations of power. “Great bearded” have made the history of my country. That’s why beard will always be related to power. In this “macho” context, getting out of the boring and sentimental muse paper, to burst into it, from my humbled condition, to try to build a new story, is almost impossible.
